Before starting to workout with me at Total Body Training, Lauren told me that she was terribly thrilled about working out or exercising! It was never really her thing! So, on her first day she was understandably nervous and concerned. I think most people are a little nervous on their first day trying a new workout studio. I was able to put her mind at easy though! I was able to modify anything that was too challenging for her. I am all about communication with my clients. Personally, I don’t think it is a good idea to push people to the point that they feel ashamed on their first session at Total Body Training. You see if your goal is weight loss then it is going to take time. You need to feel comfortable with your trainer and with the environment you are working out in. Now, you might be thinking to yourself, “What does this have to do with weight loss?” Well, it has a lot to do with weight loss.
If you have a considerable amount of weight to lose then it is going to take time. Anyways, once Lauren Started working out with me she found out that she actually liked strength and conditioning. She found herself enjoying the classes! Now, Strength training is fun for her! Not only did she begin to enjoy working out at Total Body Training but she also began to slowly but surely lose her weight. She lost 60 lbs with us here and she still losing weight!
