Setting a routine and doing something every night helps you perform at your absolute best every day. In this episode, I’ll show you what I do for my evening routine.   Everyone’s routine is different and hopefully you’ll learn something new.

Getting Home

I take time to respond to messages and e-mails until about 9p. After responding to emails, I like to eat and hang out with my girlfriend.  After eating, I start editing my content and start uploading content overnight.  Videos and Podcasts can take a long time to upload, so I like to get them uploaded while I sleep.  I give myself about 30 minutes to edit or upload and then I eat another delicious meal (always casein protein).

Second Meal

After my second meal, I take a few moments to learn some new skills to fine tune my editing and video skills.  If my girlfriend isn’t swamped too, I’ll spend time connecting with her. I really try to get in bed by 10:45p and I’ll focus on relaxing by reading graphic novels or a book.  Sometimes after a long day, I’ll watch some videos or Netflix to help tone down my mind and relax.

I like to lay out my clothes, prepare for my morning runs, and spend some time getting ready for the next day.  I find that if I shower before I go to sleep, I feel better the next day. There’s a study regarding taking cold showers before you go to bed and I really believe this helps me sleep better.  My target is to get 7.5 hours of sleep a night and typically hit my target.

Set yourself up for daily success!

This is just my evening routine; it helps me get prepped for the next day and wind down from the day’s activities.  I’m sure there are a lot of other people with more intricate routines, but this is what works for me right now.  I’m constantly changing my routine to help reach my fitness and business goals.

Yo! I’m not a licensed therapist or Doctor, I just talk about real shit that’s happened to my clients and me.
