OH MY GOODNESS… You are sore as hell! And you have no idea why or what to do about.  You’re a beginner and the soreness you are experiencing is unbearable!  If that sounds like you, then you might be experiencing your first case of D.O.M.S Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness.

If you are experiencing soreness and don’t know what to do about it or think that you NEVER EVER want to feel like this again… have no fear.  I’m here to discuss soreness, what to do about it, and different ways to deal with the pain.  What’s that saying?  No pain, no gain???

It’s totally not the end of the world.  The more you show up – the less you’ll feel and will miss the soreness… no really, you’ll miss it!  If you’re a beginner and you may be super tight, so you will feel discomfort.

Sharp pain inside the joints is an indicator that you are dealing with something larger.  But, if you are generally sore then you are good to go, it’s a natural part of working out and expect it.   There’s a legit timeline for D.O.M.S., but don’t worry there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  The more you move, the less you get D.O.M.S.

Listen to the podcast to learn how to deal with Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness to survive that soreness.
