The Group Fitness Classes are Total Body Training have a structure that is vastly different then your class. Our class are broken up into a 4 Sections. First, we do a light warm up that consist of a HIIT Style workout. Second, we do about 5 mins of active stretches to get your body ready to life weights. Third, we lift weights for about 40 mins. Last, we workout our abs.
The question we get the most often is, “How Big are your classes?” that is a great question. Let me start off by saying that we specialize in small group fitness classes in San Antonio, Texas. Our classes will usually be led by 1 instructor teaching a class with 10 or less students. The reason why are classes are on the smaller size is because we prefer to give each person one on one attention.

Let me explain, As a client you will head into one of these group fitness classes and they will have some kind of workout ready for you. The workout may be up on a board or perhaps the trainer just runs you through a workout. If you the workout is a good one then you’ll sweat and burn some calories.

This WOD structure is extremely common however you will get better results if you have a program or workout that is 100% written for you and your goals. You will get better results if that program is built for your current skill level but also takes into consideration where you want to be at with your fitness goals over the next several weeks.
The traditional WOD method is so generalized and simplistic that chances are you are not able to progress as rapidly as you would like to be able to progress with your fitness goals. Can you get results doing a WOD. Yes, of course you can. However, having a customized program is light years better than doing a generalized group workouts.
