Seasonal Dropout Disorder (SDD) is our topic of the day.  Anytime the season changes there are opportunities for people to get on track with fitness or drop off.  I notice this with the start of the summer and the school.  Around February people forget their fitness goals.  Where people get into complication is when summer rolls around, there are new responsibilities that complicate things.  This scheduling change means, people will suddenly drop out with new hiccups in their schedule.  Ideally, you will find a way to work out: get a sitter, find a gym with a daycare, work out at home, etc.  If you can see in the future that your schedule is going to change, anticipate that change and make plans for these changes.

You’re going to want to find a way to work around scheduling changes and seasonal changes.  What happens is people will go through cycles and drop in and out of gyms.  So prepare for the times when your schedule shifts, anticipate that change and adapt to it.  There’s a great opportunity for you to rise to the occasion, solve the issue, and work around it.  But remember: this will need you to be flexible with your workout schedule.

Yo! I’m not a licensed therapist or Doctor, I just talk about real shit that’s happened to my clients and me.
