Toni is a registered dietician with a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.  She is a credentialed nutrition professional, who provides online nutrition counseling and specializes in coaching people who are struggling with their relationship with food, or those who need accountability. She also has a blog called Tips with Toni and Podcast where she provides simple tips for people who are beginning their health journey and tries to focus on the basic concepts of nutrition and how to incorporate them in your diet.

Toni struggled as a young child with being overweight and not feeling confident.  Even with competing with sports, she was still over weight. So she took control and changed her diet and saw the results in all aspects of her life.  It was her childhood experiences that lead her to helping and healing others from the inside. She touches on how nutrition has changed her confidence and it’s through these personal lessons that shape her business today.

We talk about stress eating and Toni gives some great tips on how to survive stressful times. Toni talks about how she handles client’s relationship with food and helps them move into a healthy relationship. Some people can just eat and don’t look as food as a means of comforting or obsession. Toni builds her practice on helping people reclaim their relationships with food and guide clients to look at food in a different light.

We chatted about her concept of “healthy” and how that impacts her practice. Listen to find out more about Toni, nutrition, health, and your life.
