You aren’t always going to want to work out, I’m here to help you plan for those days! When you first start working on a goal, you have this thrill and excitement of beginning a new fitness goal. What do you do when that excitement fades… you may run into bad days. Bad days can be: tired days, want to relax at home, or just aren’t feeling the gym.
No one is a machine and always operates at 100%… we all have bad days.
What about your goals? If you start down the slippery slope of taking time off, your goal may slip away. So, how do you combat the “I’m not feeling it”? Plan for it! Plan to do it anyways, do the best you can. Ultimately working out is all about discipline. So when you do the shit you don’t want to do, you start to build discipline. When you don’t allow yourself to just stay home… your mind will know that in order to accomplish the goal, you got to go. Finally, reflect on how you felt after your work out on an off day. Get in there, kick some ass, accept where you are in the journey, and find that discipline within.
Yo! I’m not a licensed therapist, I just talk about real shit that’s happened to me and my clients.
