“I cried. Why? I couldn’t do a cool workout movement… I cried & trained harder” –Hearin

It’s not uncommon to cry in the gym. When someone’s a beginner, doing movements, getting out there and exercising can be really difficult and tough.

It’s 100% OKAY TO CRY!

Let it out, become one with the pain you are feeling. I believe you shouldn’t suppress your emotions, let it all out. Reflect on WHY you are crying. What has happened to get you to this point in life? Embarrassment? Anger? Shame? Figure out where your crying is coming from.

Hearin posted about crying on Instagram and recently Julia Hamilton discussed some of her roadblocks and going through emotional states when trying to lose weight.   These ladies did some soul searching and they figured out why they were crying and did something about it.

Crying may be a signal that there is something you need to change. Take a good hard look at yourself and figure it out.   Let those moments of pain and discomfort to EMPOWER YOU!

Don’t let the pain become your sob story, find a goal and focus on that. If you problems become part of your identity, it can become counter productive. Why are you crying? Get proactive and find a clear-cut path to find your path. Crying is there to let you know the pain points in your life.

Pause. Feel the feelings. Find your goal. Continue to improve yourself.
