Brought to you by time: I don’t have any.
I totally get it, we all have lives, family, work, and responsibilities, I struggle with this too! I’m constantly on the go and finding the time to workout can be tricky. Life happens, as a business owner I’m super busy and there’s always something to do or somewhere to go. As organized as I try to be, there always seems to be something more pressing. These are all valid reasons for you to NOT work out… but I want to hear WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY TIME, WITH THE BIT OF TIME I DO HAVE?
Maybe we can be more efficient with our time. What does that look like? Leave work on time & head straight to the gym. Maybe it’s getting up earlier, maybe the morning is the ONLY time you have to workout. Waking up an hour earlier and going to be an hour earlier, adjusting your schedule to work with your life. Maybe this is the solution (are you a morning person???). I’m not a morning person, but some people it’s their magic hour.
Are you watching too much Netflix? Maybe you adjust when you watch TV you can go to the gym instead and rethink your schedule.
Some have a bigger time crunch; maybe you live in the sticks or HAVE to be at home for your family. Maybe it’s completely not feasible to hit the gym; I can see how it’s a problem. So do something at home that you enjoy! There are so many options, you can work out with a trainer and with a group ONLINE. There may be workouts that are more optimal… but, something is better than nothing.
Maybe doing short workouts, 15-20 minutes of high intensity or walking may be a great way for you to just get started with moving and doing what you want to do. Set aside the idea that you HAVE to work out for an hour, just get moving! Check out the YouTube channel in April for an awesome series I’ve started producing to help you reach your goals at home.
