Resilience Losing Weight
One thing I have noticed about my clients here at Total Body Training is that they are resilient. They have resilience losing weight in the face of adversity. Working out and getting in shape isn’t easy but it is not suppose to be easy. Losing weight and toning up is not easy but again its not suppose to be easy. My clients know that it takes hard work and effort to get yourself in shape. They do not believe in making up excuses and they are always learning and growing from their mistakes. My clients recognize that their will be tough times in their lives. They know that on certain days events could come up that might get in the way of them coming to workout but they push through anyways because they are resilient. The have made a commitment to themselves to stay on track with their weight loss. Funny thing is, most of them did not start this way. Many of them started off here at Total Body Training thinking that things were going to be easy and they would not face any kind of adversities to their weight loss but they have learned how to build resilience losing weight. Because it will not happen overnight. Many facilities and trainers like to put their clients on crash diets. No, offense to these trainers and their programs but I am just not into that. Everything in the scientific literature on weight loss suggest that you should not go on a crash diet. That while you might lose a ton of weight initially that you will gain that weight back the moment you go off that unrealistic weight loss plan. Instead, I teach people how to change their lives and slow lose weight in a healthy sustainable way. I teach them that they are going to have to develop some kind of resilience losing weight. It will not be easy but if you learn how to have that resilience losing weight and with any of your goals that the likelihood of you achieving those goals is much greater.
