“You do you boo, find something you love and do it.” – Hearin
Hearin’s journey started with a Groupon in 2016, even with a gnarly sinus infection, she persevered and found her fitness home. Her goal was never to lose weight; it was always to manage stress in her life. She’s worked really hard to get strong and was the first person at TBT to dead lift 275. Due to injury, torn hip labrum, she spent months resting from surgery and has been consistent since the doctor’s release. The road to recovery is long and hard, but she kept showing up. Listen to her discuss the mental struggle and physical limitations of recovering from surgery. In the face of adversity, she’s become mentally stronger and has great insight about consistency, recovery, and adapting your fitness goals to suit your body.
“My name is Pamela and I’ve been vegan for 3 years.” – Pamela
Pamela joined Total Body Training in 2017, her dedication to consistency has really paid off. Her journey started with stress release and helped deal with a tragic loss. Total Body Training became her release, lifestyle, and positive home. The workouts have helped her become stronger, physically and mentally, for her child. Pamela discusses her journey through the stages of grief, how she became a vegan, taking time for her fitness goals, and found inspiration to further her education to become a nutritionist.
